Cheese”burger” pie!

20131226171945Here’s a tasty and very easy mid-week recipe I’ve adapted from one found in the Mosby Woods Elementary School Cookbook (Betty Crocker’s Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie).  As long as everyone at your home likes eggs and cheese, you’re set!

Ingredients
1 12oz. packet of Morningstar Farms grillers recipe crumbles
1 large chopped onion
2 tblsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Spray 10 inch pie pan with cooking spray
  3. Heat oil and saute grillers, onions, and salt until onions are almost clear
  4. Spread grillers mixture in pie pan
  5. Sprinkle with cheese
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together Bisquick, milk, and eggs with a fork or whisk.  Pour into pie plate.
  7. Bake about 30 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
Enjoy!
